Introduction:
UOW initially started with the local donations aiming for a better regional future and now is a leading global university collaborating with various sectors to tackle significant societal issues.
In 1975, the campus was opened in Wollongong which now has 10 UOW campuses and several international partners for teaching.

- The first step is to submit the online application form to the Office of Global Student Mobility through SMO portal.
- Then the candidates are required to apply for accommodation.
- Candidates will receive the outcome of their application through an acknowledgment email within two weeks of the application being received.
- Accepted students will be receiving an Offer of Admission letter through their e-mails.
- Candidates are required to make the accept or reject decision. In case of wanting to accept the offer, candidates have to print and sign the 'Attachment A' of the offer letter on pages 5 and 6.
- Candidates then need to log in to Student Mobility Online Application and upload the signed Attachment in PDF format and submit.
- Once the offer has been accepted, candidates will receive an electronic confirmation of Enrolment(eCOE) via their email which is to be used to apply for candidate's Australian student visa.
- Six months before the beginning of candidate's selected course, candidate will receive all the necessary detailed information, study plan, along with UOW username and password via UOW email.
