Course Structure
The Master of Health Leadership and Management (MHLM) is designed to meet the education needs of current and aspiring leaders and managers in health systems and services, both in Australia and globally. Students must successfully complete a total of 48 units of credits (UOC) through a combination of core courses and electives. In addition, international students are required to complete an Academic Practice unit.
Full program structure
The Master of Health Leadership and Management can be completed in one year of full-time study or two years part-time. Students must complete:
- 5 core courses – 30 UOC
- 3 elective courses – 18 UOC
- 1 academic practice course (international students only)

IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
