A Master of Business Information Systems connects people, data and technology. Advance your ability to generate key business insights by combining professional and technical knowledge. Torrens University's industry focus helps you keep up with the fast-moving industry.
This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to further developing your business acumen. You will immerse yourself in theory to meet the changing business environments in which you aspire to work and manage, with the skills and knowledge to critically analyse core business functions, implement strategic processes, manage risk and lead complex teams. The course has core and elective units comprising data management, systems analysis and design, requirements engineering, microservices architecture, ethical decision making and strategic planning. You can enter or exit the degree via the Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems.

Course Structure
This course comprises of 16 subjects, which includes 12 core subjects and 4 elective subjects. Each subject involves 10 hours of study per week, comprising 3 hours of facilitated study and 7 hours self-directed study.
