The Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management (Honours) is a one year full time (or equivalent part-time) program that allows students to further develop their specific area of interest and is a pathway into Research Higher Degree study. The program consists of 80 units of advanced theory, higher level learning and research.

On successful completion of the program students will have:

• Demonstrate independence and critical thinking by formulating a research or capstone project to investigate a current topic or issue in the field of environmental science and management
• Plan and execute the research using appropriate scientific methodologies to collect, critically analyze, interpret and synthesize findings and present those findings and their implications
• Demonstrate professional interest and adaptability in an area of environmental science and management by preparing and presenting well-researched persuasive arguments to a variety of audiences.
