Course Structure
To complete the Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion students must attain 8 credit points comprising seven 1-credit-point core units (these are compulsory) and one credit point elective unit.
The elective unit is selected from the list below. Students successfully completing the Graduate Certificate of Health Promotion (H515) may be eligible for up to 4 credit points of Recognition of prior learning towards this course.
All commencing Faculty of Health Undergraduate and Postgraduate course work students are required to complete DAI001 Academic Integrity Module (0-credit-point compulsory unit) in their first trimester of study.
Students are required to meet the University's academic progress and conduct requirements.
7 Compulsory units + 1 Elective unit = 8 Total

Following successful completion of the Graduate Diploma of Health Promotion, you will be qualified to take advantage of the career opportunities that exist world-wide in national and international health organisations; medium-sized businesses; multinational corporations; community organisations; human services agencies; local, state and federal government departments; statutory authorities; and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs).

To meet the English language proficiency requirements of this course, you will need to demonstrate at least one of the following:
- bachelor degree from a recognised English-speaking country
- IELTS overall score of 6.5 (with no band score less than 6.0) in each component of test
