Overview
Enroll in the Master of Project Management program to advance your expertise in leading and managing projects across diverse work environments. This comprehensive course emphasizes both the technical and human aspects of project management, incorporating coursework and research methodologies applicable in large commercial and public organizations. Choose to specialize in one of four minors: Hospital and Health Services Management, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Management. Tailor your Master's degree to align with your career aspirations by selecting from a range of options for your final year, including research, practicum, or internship streams.
The Master of Project Management is fully accredited by the Project Management Institute - Global Accreditation Centre for Project Management Education Programs (GAC-PMI), allowing graduates to accrue professional development units (PDUs) upon successful completion.
This program offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of project management through coursework and potentially pursue a research career in your field. All course materials align with global standards and core bodies of knowledge established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). In the final year, you can choose from three streams: research, practicum, or internship. Opting for the research stream enables you to conduct a project based on workplace issues or professional interests, meeting eligibility criteria for enrollment in a Ph.D. program. The practicum involves developing a project within a simulated company environment, while the internship stream offers authentic experience in project management through placement at a host organization.
Throughout the program, you'll be equipped to contribute to the growth and development of projects while enhancing your individual career advancement opportunities.
