Overview
The Bachelor of Theatre program at CQUniversity offers a meticulously crafted structure integrated with performance, enhancing your educational journey. Tailor your studies to align with your interests and career aspirations by selecting a major in Drama, Music Theatre, or Technical Theatre.
Immersed in a nurturing and creative environment centered around performance-based training, you'll engage in various full-scale productions, assuming both technical and creative roles.

Throughout your studies, you'll cultivate a diverse skill set, complemented by exploration of dramatic literature, theatre history, and drama theory, enriching your understanding and practice.

Additionally, you'll refine your singing and voice, acting, dance, and movement abilities. Explorations into imagination and performance techniques and styles will be coupled with coverage of production-related aspects such as lighting, sound, and stage management.

Course Structure
COURSE STRUCTURE:
Completion of 24 units is mandatory for this course. This comprises four core units, 16 specialization units, and four units from your selected minor.

Completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; or completion of AQF Certificate IV or equivalent; or completion of an approved university foundation studies program.
Entry Requirement
For English language proficiency, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- IELTS Academic: Achieve a score of 6.0 with no individual band score below 5.5.
- TOEFL Internet-based: Attain an overall score of 75 with no sub-score less than 17.
- Pearson Test of English Academic: Obtain an overall score of 54 with no sub-score below 46.
