Course Structure:
To fulfill the requirements of this program, you must complete 12 core units alongside your chosen engineering major. The available majors are:

1. Civil (20 units)
2. Civil with Humanitarian (20 units)
3. Electrical (20 units)
4. Electrical with Data Analytics (20 units)
5. Electrical with Information Processing (20 units)
6. Electrical with Industrial Automation (20 units)
7. Mechanical with Industrial Automation (20 units)
8. Mechanical (21 units)
9. Resource Systems (21 units)

Credit Transfer Information:
Students who have completed relevant prior study may be eligible for credit transfer.

 

Mathematics Credit Option:
Students who have completed Mathematical Methods in Year 12 may be eligible to receive credit for the Foundation Mathematics (MATH11247) unit, applicable to the electrical, mechanical, and civil majors. A secondary qualification (Year 11 or 12, or equivalent)

Entry Requirement

To meet the language proficiency requirement, applicants must achieve one of the following:

1. An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) overall band score of at least 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in both Reading and Writing, and 6.0 in Speaking and Listening.

OR

2. An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B in each of the four components.

OR

3. TOEFL Internet-based: An overall score of 75, with no sub-score less than 17.

OR

4. Pearson Test of English Academic: An overall score of 54, with no sub-score less than 46.

OR

5. Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) / Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE): An overall test score of 169, with no individual band score below 162.
