Overview
Offered to students holding an undergraduate degree in an area outside of business/commerce or those with a business background (with the option of some credit for prior study), Melbourne Business School's Master of Management will equip you with foundational business training, as well as specialist training in organisational management.
You will leave the course with a strong understanding in:

Course Structure
200 point program
The 200 Point Master of Management consists of 16 subjects comprising:
- 4 foundation subjects (completed in the first semester of study)
- 2 core subjects (completed in the second semester of study)
- 5 discipline core subjects
- 3 general elective subjects
- 2 capstone subjects (completed in the final year of study)
150 point program
Students entering the Master of Management with 50 points of advanced standing will need to successfully complete 12 x 12.5 point subjects comprising:
- 2 core subjects (completed in the first semester of study)
- 5 discipline core subjects
- 3 general electives
- 2 capstone subjects
Career Outcomes
The program covers a broad spectrum of management activities including all the key areas needed to become a successful manager and leader. On graduation you will be:
- Adept at obtaining, analysing, synthesising and evaluating evidence in management decision making in an area of commerce specialisation
- A strategic and critical thinker in relation to business and commerce related issues and in developing solutions to problems in organisations and in society
