Overview

An Associate Degree in International Hotel and Resort Management prepares you for global hotels and resorts. Learn from industry experts and build key relationships at the #1 hotel management school in Australia. Take on paid placements with international restaurant and hospitality organisations.

During this course, you will live on-site at our Practical Learning Centre, Leura campus in the Blue Mountains for two six-month blocks. The Leura campus operates as a simulated hotel, where students are both guest and staff. The rest of the time you will spend engaged in an industry placement. This associate degree forms the first two years of the bachelor's program so it can function as a pathway into a bachelor's degree or a standalone qualification.

Course Structure

This course comprises 16 core subjects and two industry placements.

 

Year 1:

These eight core subjects must be completed. Additionally, you are required to complete one industry placement of up to 600 hours.
