Overview

A Master of International Hotel Management prepares you to lead and manage hotel operations in a global context. Delivered by Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (BMIHMS), you'll network with the top hotel brands in the world.

This course will cover core business concepts, such as management, marketing, revenue, research, critical analysis and leadership, through the specific lens of hotel management and the broader hospitality sector. During your second year, you'll undertake an external placement in a hotel organisation where you'll apply your studies to a workplace environment.

Course Structure

This course comprises 12 subjects, which include 11 core subjects, 1 elective subject, and additionally two industry placements.

 

Year 1:

These seven core subjects must be completed. Additionally you're required to select one elective from the electives tab.

  • Management of Rooms Division | MRD403

  • Service Design and Management | SDM404

  • Contemporary Hotel Marketing | CHM601

  • Hotel Finance and Revenue | HFR603

 

Year 2:

These four core subjects must be completed. Additionally you're required to complete industry placement of up to 600 hours.
