Overview
Gain the knowledge and training required to become a skilled manager in the hospitality industry with a Diploma of Hospitality Management SIT50422 at Victoria University.
You will gain practical skills tailored to working in restaurants, cafes, pubs, hotels and other hospitality areas. You’ll learn and apply your skills in our fully equipped hospitality training centre under the guidance of passionate industry experts.

Course Structure
The course structure comprises the following core and elective units. These electives have been selected based on industry needs, graduate pathways and/or student and teacher feedback. To be awarded the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, a student must successfully complete a total of twenty-eight (28) units of competency, comprising of: * eleven (11) core units, and; * seventeen (17) elective units, of which:
- one (1) unit must be from Group A
- one (1) unit must be from Group B
- eleven (11) units must be from Group C
- four (4) units from Group C, Group D, or elsewhere in the SIT Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

IELTS (Academic module): Overall score of 5.5 (no band less than 5.0)
TOEFL Internet: Overall score of 55 (Listening 9, Speaking 16, Reading 10, Writing 18)
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Overall score of 42 (no section score less than 40)
University of Cambridge - Advanced (CAE): Overall score of 162. No individual band less than 154.
